One of the most significant changes Fischer observed was the advancement of computer drafting technology. When he graduated from vocational school, computer-aided drafting was emerging, but the introduction of 3D drafting revolutionized the industry. Fischer, with his background in design and drafting, embraced this new technology, and Design Home Center has been utilizing 3D imagery for the past 15 years to help customers visualize their projects. This tool has proven invaluable, allowing customers to see the final result before making any commitments.
Fischer's leadership has been instrumental in cultivating a talented workforce in the New Ulm area.
